Fishing, baseball, and creepy old houses... a guy's senior session in Florida

When I was asked to photograph Jack's senior pictures, I was so thrilled. Jack is such a charismatic and well rounded kid. He's an amazing fisherman, has incredible knowledge of the Florida waters around where he lives, is a great ball player, and musically inclined like you wouldn't believe! He plays the piano and trombone, and I bet he probably can carry a tune as well. This fall, while playing football, he spent halftimes on the field with the band, not in the locker room with the rest of his teammates.

And... he is family which makes this session that much more special. 

There is no way I could capture him in HIS element in and around High Point, North Carolina. Sure, I could probably hunt down someone who owns a boat, but the whole Florida, Spanish moss, Cyprus tree, and yes, even alligator vibe would be totally missing. And the creepy house with the ancient piano was just a bonus! 

My goal with each and every session to to showcase these seniors in their environments, being exactly who they are. Jack may not have been thrilled with putting on a suit in the Florida heat, but man did it make the images come to life!
