I often don't photograph weddings, but sometimes I just can't say no, and I'm so glad I was a part of this special day!

Bryce contacted me in March, asking me to capture his surprise proposal to Hannah. We concocted a plan that her bestie had won a friend session and we would meet at a local park with Bryce hidden. Hannah had been suspecting that the proposal had been coming for awhile, but a string of false DMs threw her off. Yay us! The surprise proposal obviously was a success that then turned into a few quick engagement pictures and ultimately a wedding photographer inquiry, so here we are four months later! 

I actually had the blessing to photograph Hannah for her high school senior pictures, as well as both of her brothers, so it was such an honor to be able to also be a part of this milestone this past weekend. 

Since Hannah and Bryce are such avid golfers, they chose to hold their wedding at Old Beau Gold club in Roaring Gap, NC. They shared a sweet private prayer instead of a first look prior to the ceremony. With the mountains as a beautiful backdrop under a beautiful Carolina sky, Hannah and Bryce became Mr. & Mrs. in front of so many of their family and friends.  After some traditional family and bridal party portraits, they shared tearful dances, heartfelt toasts, and a buffet dinner as the sun crept over the golf course. We snuck out just as the sun was setting to grab some sun kissed portraits, before they returned to the guests for an unbelievable energetic party!
